From Graaff-Reinet follow the N9(south) to Willowmore via Aberdeen. HISTORY Laid out on the farm Willow in 1862. The first erven were sold in 1862 and a church established in 1863. The district was proclaimed in 1864. ORIGINS OF THE NAME Named after the farm and the owner William Joseph Moore. Various forms of the name was used (like Willow-Moore and Willowmoore) but since 1890 only Willowmore was accepted.
